Facilitation Coaching
When dealing with a tough subject in a workshop, it means the workshop needs to be carefully crafted to engage your audience, yet at the same time, allow people to feel safe enough to discuss and explore the subject. For Leigh Olsen, Director of Tradie HR, she wanted to tackle the tough subject of Harassment and Bullying with one of her clients and, help them to safely explore how to get their words right and keep everyone in the workplace safe.
Horrobin Learning worked with Leigh to create a 45 minute session that got straight to the core of how people often say the wrong things in the workplace. Leigh received additional coaching on how to set up her activities to create enough safety in the room so her audience would be prepared to explore the learning, and create a positive change. Since her first initial roll-out of the workshop, Leigh has now taken this workshop to a nation-wide level, across several different companies.

"If you want your workshop objectives and/or learning solutions to really hit home, then Clare is your secret weapon. Clare’s workshop/learning course designs are unique, edgy, super enjoyable and the learning lands where it’s supposed to, regardless of what industry you are in. Clare has helped me with my facilitating and presenting skills to ensure that my audience doesn’t fall asleep, which is rather important! I will think up any excuse to utilise Clare’s expertise as not only is she super plugged into what works (and what doesn’t) she is super cool to hang with. Clare speaks from the heart, is passionate about learning and helping people on their developmental journeys and is quite simply one of the nicest people on our planet."
