During 2021, Les Mills redesigned their assessment qualification process to be centred on a strengths-based system, encouraging their Instructors to be the best versions of themselves while motivating others into their own fitness journeys. To do this, Les Mills required not only had to redesign their Assessment Criteria, but also had to decide how they would upskill their Trainers to assess the new Instructors on this system. This resulted in designing and implementing the Les Mills Qualification Trainer Upskill. 

Clare was brought into this project to provide additional consultation and coaching to the Global Lead Instructional Designers on the Trainer Upskill structural design and content to ensure it met a global market’s needs. Alongside this, Clare project managed and upskilled the Global Lead Trainer team to roll out the Trainer Upskill programme to the initial 10 countries, ensuring this team were ready to continue on with the on-going roll out throughout Les Mills global market. To make sure the Global Lead Trainers were ready to implement on a wider scale, Clare also upskill the Trainers on online facilitation to maintain Les Mills International’s training standards.

This Global Upskill was initially delivered to 21 countries, who then went on to upskill a further 100 countries.
